Welcome! I am Seo Jang-wu, the invited Director of the National Ocean Science Museum.
The National Ocean Science Museum is the only institution in Korea that offers education, exhibitions, and experiences of marine science to share the value of oceans with people and inform visitors of the importance of marine science.
Marine science, as proven by history, is a fundamental source that can increase a nation’s competitiveness and resolve resource shortages and environmental issues.
As an educational place where visitors can easily become familiar with marine science, our Science Museum will continue to communicate with visitors through a variety of marine education and exhibition programs and develop continuously.
